This week, as a school, we have been thinking about our feelings and what we can do to help ourselves feel good when we are not. We looked at different situations and thought about how we would feel in them. We completed activities that make us feel good such as - reading, playing games, listening to music, eating different fruits and taking part in mindful activities such as yoga and colouring. We also thought about how kindness can help us to feel good. We donated food to our local food bank during our Harvest assembly and sang songs or read poems to make us all smile. It was a lovely week and we hope that some of the strategies we learnt will help us throughout our lives.
